Labor leader says lowest paid workers should get wage rise

Anthony Albanese has clarified his stance on the minimum wage narrowing the number of workers he thinks should get a pay rise in line with inflation. Earlier this week, Mr Albanese publicly backed a five-point-one percent boost to the minimum wage. But today he's indicated he was referring to the roughly 200-thousand lowest-paid workers not the two and half million others on higher rates of pay.
