Yasin Malik, Separatist Leader, Pleads Guilty To 2017 Terrorism Case

On May 10, Yasin Malik, separatist leader from Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) pleaded guilty before the NIA court in a case related to alleged terrorism and secessionist activities that disturbed the valley in 2017. As reported by ANI, recently, the court had ordered the framing of charges against many separatist leaders including Yasin Malik under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and IPC. On May 19, the court will hear arguments on the quantum of the sentence. Yasin Malik is likely to get a maximum punishment of life imprisonment. Watch the video to know more.
