Prince Charles mocked on social media after 'nonsense' State Opening of Parliament

The Prince of Wales laid out the Government's legislative agenda yesterday after the Queen missed her third State Opening of Parliament. Buckingham Palace announced the heir apparent would take the place of his 96-year-old mother on Monday. In a statement, they said: "The Queen continues to experience episodic mobility problems, and in consultation with her doctors has reluctantly decided that she will not attend the State Opening of Parliament tomorrow." However, not everyone appeared to appreciate Prince Charles' involvement in the Queen's Speech. Twitter user @PaddyAMetis said: "Note to self.
