April is Limb Loss Awareness Month - and today (April 27, 2022) is "Show Your Mettle Day" where amputees are encouraged to show their prosthetics and orthotics visibly and with pride as opposed to covering them up. Out of respect to those who go through life with difficulties that able-bodied individuals couldn't fathom - it makes sense today to pay homage to the wrestlers who have accomplished more than many - and did it minus a leg.
