The farmers in Medinipur on May 08, were seen bracing up ahead of the arrival of Cyclone 'Asani' as the IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in West Bengal, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh. In hopes to face minimal damage, the farmers were seen trying to complete their work before the arrival of the cyclone.

While speaking to ANI, a farmer said, “We are trying to complete the work before the arrival of the cyclone.”

“We will fight the cyclone,” another farmer said.
