Six Royal Family members Queen made exception for with palace jubilee balcony appearance

Buckingham Palace has revealed who will appear alongside the Queen for the Platinum Jubilee edition of Trooping the Colour this year, and several Royal Family members have been left out. The palace has now confirmed that after "careful consideration" only royals who carry out official public duties will join the Queen for the event. A Palace spokesman said: "After careful consideration, the Queen has decided this year's traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd June will be limited to Her Majesty and those members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen."
