India and France see each other as key partners in Indo-pacific: MEA

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his brief visit to Paris during which he met French President Emmanuel Macron on May 04, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the two leaders held extensive discussions on a range of issues. Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra also said that both the nations see each other as key partners in the Indo-pacific region.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has just concluded his brief visit to Paris during which he met French President Emmanuel Macron and held extensive discussions on a range of issues of bilateral, regional, and global importance,” said Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra.

“President Macron renewed mandates and the conversation between the two leaders allows us to build on the existing strength and success of the India-France strategic partnership. India and France see each other as key partners in the Indo-pacific,” he added.
