कांग्रेस ने एक प्रेस कान्फ्रेंस आयोजित की, जिसमें पार्टी प्रवक्ता पवन खेड़ा ने कहा कि केंद्र ने सेंट्रल एक्साइज से 26 लाख करोड़ रुपये की कमाई की है। क्या वो इसमें से राज्यों को कुछ दे रहे हैं। आप जीएसटी का हिस्सा राज्यों को समय पर नहीं देते। फिर कहते हैं कि राज्य वैट कम कर दें। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि जो मंत्री इन पैसों का हिसाब देते हैं, वो अनपढ़ हैं।
