China’s cloud computing war: the history of domestic cloud development



In 2013, the world's largest open cloud service provider, Amazon AWS, landed in China. At that time, domestic cloud manufacturers were in their infancy, and Alibaba Cloud was the first to deploy cloud computing. Baidu announced to open the service to developers and officially named it "Baidu Open Cloud". Tencent Cloud also announced the official opening of its cloud service platform.

Today, many cloud vendors such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Cloud have failed in the Chinese market.
