WHO Chief Dr Ghebreyesus On India Visit: Watch Him Address PM Modi With 'Kem Cho'

On April 19, World Health Organisation (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus had a surprise planned for the audience at the foundation stone ceremony of the Global Centre for Traditional Medicine (GCTM) in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The WHO chief greeted the people at the event in Gujarati. Ghebreyesus said, “Namaskar” while folding his hands. Then he said, “Kem cho… (how are you).” Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen smiling and clapping. The audience too started clapping as the WHO chief greeted the people in the local language.
