Karnataka has witnessed a spate of communal incidents in the past few months. Starting from attacks on churches to hijab and halal, right wing groups have launched a massive hate campaign against minority communities. The opposition is accusing the ruling BJP of carrying out a hate campaign against minorities as their poll plank in the run up to 2023 assembly elections.
