Taco Bell Is Bringing Back , the Mexican Pizza.
The popular item has been missing from the restaurant's offerings for about two years.
The fast-food chain got rid of the pizza, along with other items, in November 2020 in an attempt to cut costs amid the height of the pandemic.
CNN reports it will find a permanent home
on Taco Bell's menu starting May 19.

It consists of beans or ground beef sandwiched between two tortilla shells with sauce,
cheese and chopped tomatoes. .

Taco Bell also announced that it has "worked to streamline operations and ingredient sourcing, and leave a lighter footprint at the same time" when it comes to the item's new packaging
