The Duke of Edinburgh passed away on April 9 2021, and was laid to rest at St George's Chapel, Windsor on April 17. Most of the Royal Family attended the service, with Prince Harry returning from the US and Prince Andrew making a rare public appearance. However, in an excerpt from Angela Kelly’s updated book “The Other Side of the Coin, The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe”, the aide described how the Queen spent time alone in the hours after her husbands funeral.
