'Eat This, Not That!' reports that many retailers have instituted purchase limit policies following the ongoing supply chain issues, inflation and product shortages.
Here are 5 items that shoppers can only buy a limited amount of each time they visit the stores.
1. Baby formula.
Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Kroger and CVS have all placed purchase limits on the item ranging from 3 to 5 per visit.
2. Sugar.
Costco is allowing the purchase of two 10-pound bags of Imperial Pure Cane Sugar at a time.
3. Gas.
Costco is reportedly only allowing
$100 worth of gas to be purchased per visit.
4. Online items.
Costco has limited the purchase of products such as soy milk, tuna, canola oil,
mac and cheese and more online.
5. Pet food.
Costco has limited pet food
both in stores and online
