The Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab was splendidly lit up as the country celebrated Baisakhi festival on April 14. Fireworks were seen across the sky, giving a beautiful view. Devotees also thronged the temple to offer prayers on this special occasion.

Baisakhi is a sacred festival of Sikhs, which is celebrated every year on this day. It is celebrated with much fervor in Punjab and Haryana.
