New York: Two Sikh Men Visiting US, Targeted In Apparent Racist Attack In Richmond Hill

On April 12, two Sikh men were attacked in New York. This comes just less than two weeks after another Sikh man was assaulted in the same neighbourhood, reported CNN. A 76-year-old and a 64-year-old were approached by two men who allegedly assaulted them with their fists and a stick, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department told CNN. Reportedly, one suspect has been taken into custody. The police said that the incident is being investigated as a possible hate crime, reported CNN. The incident took place in Richmond Hill, a neighborhood also known as Little Punjab. Watch the video to know more.
