The 24 newly elected MLCs, who won the Bihar Legislative Council elections, were administered the oath of office on Monday. The swearing-in ceremony was held in the Vidhan Parishad auditorium in the presence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Speaker Awadhesh Narayan Singh. During this, 13 of NDA, 6 of RJD, four independents and one MLC of Congress party took oath. Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, including Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav were present in the swearing-in ceremony.

बिहार विधान परिषद चुनाव जीतने वाले 24 नवनिर्वाचित विधान पार्षदों को सोमवार को पद की शपथ दिलाई गई. विधान परिषद सभागर में मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार और स्पीकर अवधेश नारायण सिंह की उपस्थिति में शपथ ग्रहण समारोह आयोजित किया गया. इस दौरान एनडीए के 13, राजद के 6, चार निर्दलीय और कांग्रेस पार्टी के एक एमएलसी ने शपथ ग्रहण की. शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में नेता प्रतिपक्ष तेजस्वी यादव समेत मंत्री, विधायक, विधान पार्षद मौजूद थे.
