There is a lot of opposition to the policy of paddy procurement of the central government. Leaders of many farmer organizations have come to the capital Delhi and a dharna has been started with a large number of protesters. Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait also appeared in this dharna organized by Telangana MPs, MLCs and other leaders.
Along with Rakesh Tikait, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao also appeared in the dharna. The leaders of Rao's party say that they are against the paddy procurement policy of the Centre.

केंद्र सरकार की धान खरीद की पॉलिसी का जमकर विरोध हो रहा है। कई किसान संगठनों के नेता राजधानी दिल्ली आए हैं और बड़ी संख्या में जुटे प्रदर्शनकारियों के साथ धरना शुरू किया गया है। तेलंगाना के सांसदों, एमएलसी और अन्य नेताओं द्वारा आयोजित इस धरने में भारतीय किसान यूनियन के नेता राकेश टिकैत भी नजर आए
राकेश टिकैत के साथ ही धरने में तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री के चंद्रशेखर राव भी नजर आए। राव की पार्टी के नेताओं का कहना है कि, वे केंद्र की धान खरीद नीति के खिलाफ हैं।
