The Congress on Saturday appointed former Punjab government minister Amarinder Singh Raja as the president of the Punjab Congress Congress Committee. With this, Pratap Singh Bajwa has been appointed as the leader of the legislature party. After this the new team of Punjab Congress met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. Navjot Singh Sidhu and Charanjit Singh Channi were missing in this meeting.

पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद कांग्रेस में बड़ा बदलाव हुआ है. कांग्रेस ने शनिवार को पंजाब सरकार के पूर्व मंत्री अमरिंदर सिंह राजा को पंजाब कांग्रेस कांग्रेस कमेटी का अध्यक्ष बनाया है. इसके साथ प्रताप सिंह बाजवा को विधायक दल का नेता नियुक्त किया गया है. इसके बाद पंजाब कांग्रेस की नई टीम ने दिल्ली में कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी से मुलाकात की. इस मीटिंग में नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू और चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी गायब रहे.
