The no-confidence motion against Pakistan PM Imran Khan was disallowed and termed ‘unconstitutional’ and consequently Pakistan President Arif Alvi dissolved the national assembly. PM Imran Khan has been denotified as the ‘caretaker’ prime minister but, the Pakistan army said that it had ‘no role’ in the dissolution of the assembly.  Here are a few instances from Pakistan history when the Pak army overthrew the government.
