Jamie Raskin: "It is the most bipartisan committee I've ever been on. It's the one committee, Mr. Cole, that I serve on that doesn't begin with well, this 1 may be a partial exception, but most of the companies I serve on start with an hour of partisan polemics and diatribe where people are just slashing each other and attacking each other. And that's really not how the January 6 select Committee works.
We're rolling up our sleeves and getting down to work. We're trying to determine the events of January 6, the causes behind them, and then what we need to do to fortify American Democratic institutions moving forward against future coups, insurrections, and violence that would overtake our institutions.
So not only is this a bipartisan institution, it is a model bipartisan committee."
