Congress President Sonia Gandhi attacked the Modi government fiercely in the Lok Sabha. Sonia Gandhi accused the Narendra Modi government of weakening MNREGA. Without naming PM Modi, he said, MGNREGA, which was ridiculed by some people a few years ago, helped crores of poor families in time during covid-19 and lockdown and also played an important role in saving the government. Still, there are continuous cuts in the budget of MNREGA. Due to which the legal guarantee of getting work and payment of wages on time is weakening.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi ने लोकसभा में मोदी सरकार पर जमकर हमला बोला. सोनिया गांधी ने नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार पर मनरेगा को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया. बिना पीएम मोदी का नाम लिए उन्होंने कहा, MGNREGA, जिसका कुछ लोगों ने कुछ साल पहले मजाक उड़ाया था, उसने कोविड-19 और लॉकडाउन में करोड़ों गरीब परिवारों को समय से सहायता दी और सरकार को बचाने में भी अहम भूमिका निभाई. फिर भी मनरेगा के बजट में लगातार कटौतियां हो रही हैं. जिससे काम मिलने और समय पर मजदूरी के भुगतान की कानूनी गारंटी कमजोर पड़ रही है.
