Nitin Gadkari, Union Roadways Minister, Rolls Into Parliament In Hydrogen Car

On March 30, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari entered the Parliament in a green hydrogen-powered car. This move by the minister comes as prices of petrol and diesel are soaring in the country. Gadkari travelled from his residence to the Parliament in the car as part of a pilot project. The Union Minister can be seen sitting in the front seat of the car next to the driver. On March 30, petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 80 paise a litre each, taking the total increase in rates in the last nine days to Rs 5.60 per litre. As per a PTI report, in Mumbai, petrol and diesel prices per litre reached Rs 115.88 & Rs 100.10 respectively after prices were hiked by 84 paise and 85 paise. Watch the video to know more.
