Paid-parental leave changes could leave women worse-off economically

The budget promises more people will be able to access the paid parental leave scheme. 20 weeks leave - paid at the minimum wage - would be available for parents who earn less than a combined $350,000 a year. The couple can divide the 20 weeks between them as they choose. Economist Angela Jackson says the policy won't help women's economic progress.
