Taliban government Islamic Emirates has imposed ban on women travelling without male accomplice on national and international flights. AFP reports that Ariana Afghan Air and Kam Airlines have revealed that Taliban representatives held meeting with the officials of the two airlines and emigration officials at the airport and decided on the ban. Earlier Taliban banned foreign news programs’ broadcast through local media outlets. Voice of America, BBC, Deutsche Welle and several other media organizations have demanded Taliban to reconsider their decision.



तालिबान सरकार इस्लामिक अमीरात ने राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों में बिना पुरुष साथी के यात्रा करने वाली महिलाओं पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया है। एएफपी की रिपोर्ट है कि एरियाना अफगान एयर और काम एयरलाइंस ने खुलासा किया है कि तालिबान के प्रतिनिधियों ने हवाई अड्डे पर दोनों एयरलाइनों और प्रवासन अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की और प्रतिबंध पर फैसला किया। इससे पहले तालिबान ने स्थानीय मीडिया आउटलेट्स के माध्यम से विदेशी समाचार कार्यक्रमों के प्रसारण पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया था। वॉयस ऑफ अमेरिका, बीबीसी, डॉयचे वेले और कई अन्य मीडिया संगठनों ने तालिबान से अपने फैसले पर पुनर्विचार करने की मांग की है।
