Jailed SP leader Azam Khan has got a big setback from the court. Azam Khan, the newly elected MLA from Rampur city, will not be able to take oath as MLA by going to the assembly today. Actually, the court has rejected the demand of the jail administration, in which permission was sought for Azam Khan to go to the assembly for oath. Azam Khan's son Abdullah Azam Khan reached the Uttar Pradesh Assembly and took oath as an MLA representative after the court rejected the permission to take oath in the assembly.

जेल में बंद सपा के नेता आजम खान को कोर्ट से बड़ा झटका लगा है. रामपुर शहर से नवनिर्वाचित विधायक आजम खान आज विधानसभा में जाकर विधायक पद की शपथ नहीं ले पाएंगे. दरअसल, कोर्ट ने जेल प्रशासन की उस मांग को खारिज कर दिया है, जिसमें आजम खान को शपथ के लिए विधानसभा जाने की अनुमति मांगी गई थी. कोर्ट से विधानसभा जाकर शपथ लेने की अनुमित खारिज होने के बाद आजम खान के बेटे अब्दुल्ला आजम खान उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा पहुंचे और विधायक प्रतिनिधि के रूप में शपथ ग्रहण की।
