'Heartfelt footage emanating from Broward County, Florida, captures the moment a military son reunited with his mom in one of the most unconventional ways imaginable.
The footage kicks off with the mom hesitatingly interacting with the police at her doorstep. The cops request her assistance with an "ongoing robbery case."
Upon stepping out of her house, she sees her son getting out of the police car, resulting in a beautiful and exciting mom-and-son moment.
"I had just returned from an overseas assignment in Korea and I enjoy surprising my mother," the returnee, Greg Hardy shared. "I hadn't seen her in a little more than two years. So, with the assistance of the Tamarac Police Department, I decided to make this holiday surprise one that won't be forgotten!"
