A joint forum of central trade unions has given a call for Bharat Bandh on Monday and Tuesday, to protest against government policies affecting workers, farmers, and people. Essential services might be affected during the Bandh. Several trades unions in India, which have called the two-day bandh to protest against government policies, have demanded scrapping the proposed changes in labour laws, hike in wages under MGNREGA, regularisation of contract workers among others.

28-29 मार्च को भारत बंद (Bharat Bandh) है. केंद्र सरकार की श्रम नीतियों के खिलाफ भारत बंद की घोषणा की गई है। भारत बंद का आह्वान मोदी सरकार (modi government) की उन नीतियों के खिलाफ किया जा रहा है, जिनसे कर्मचारी, किसान और आम जनता प्रभावित हो रही है. बता दें कि बैंकिंग सेक्टर भी इस हड़ताल में शामिल है. इस बंद को राजनीतिक दलों का समर्थन भी मिल गया है। अब बात आती है कि भारत बंद का क्या असर दिखाई देगा।
