Kim Jong Un led North Korea has test-fired its biggest intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) to boost its defences and prepare for a “long confrontation” with the United States of America. Pyongyang International Airport witnessed the launch where Kim oversaw the whole operation. South Korea, Japan and USA have condemned the test while UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called it a violation of Security Council resolutions.


किम जोंग उन के नेतृत्व वाले उत्तर कोरिया ने अपनी रक्षा को बढ़ावा देने और अमेरिका के साथ "लंबे टकराव" की तैयारी के लिए अपनी सबसे बड़ी अंतरमहाद्वीपीय बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल (ICBM) का परीक्षण किया है। प्योंगयांग अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर इस का प्रक्षेपण किया गया है जहाँ किम ने पूरे ऑपरेशन का निरीक्षण किया। दक्षिण कोरिया, जापान और अमेरिका ने परीक्षण की निंदा की है जबकि संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव एंटोनियो गुटेरेस ने इसे सुरक्षा परिषद के प्रस्तावों का उल्लंघन बताया है।
