Russian President Vladimir Putin has decided not accept payment for natural gas supplies in US Dollar or Euro but in Russian Ruble from “unfriendly countries”. European Union countries receive 40 per cent of their gas supplies from Russia. Putin instructed the Central bank for converting the transaction from compromised currencies to Ruble as soon as possible.

रूसी राष्ट्रपति व्लादिमीर पुतिन ने अमेरिकी डॉलर या यूरो में प्राकृतिक गैस की आपूर्ति के लिए भुगतान स्वीकार नहीं करने का फैसला किया है,बल्कि उनकी जगह रूसी रूबल में ही भुगतान लिया जायेगा। यूरोपीय संघ के देश अपनी गैस आपूर्ति का 40 प्रतिशत रूस से प्राप्त करते हैं। पुतिन ने अमित्र देशों से भुगतान के सिलसिले में सेंट्रल बैंक को समझौता मुद्राओं से लेनदेन को जल्द से जल्द रूबल में बदलने का निर्देश दिया है।
