Conservationists at Zoos Victoria are helping pull a rare and endangered Australian bird back from the brink of extinction. The plains wanderer is the last of its kind in its family tree and there are fewer than a thousand left. But a breeding program in Melbourne's west is now releasing some of these tiny and unique birds back into the wild.
