कश्मीर घाटी में हिन्दू समुदाय के लोगों के साथ क्रूरता और उन्हें वहां से पलायन के लिये मजबूर किये जाने का दर्द आज दशकों बाद भी उनकी आंखें नम कर देता है। इसी पर आधारित बॉलिबुड की एक फिल्म 'द कश्मीर फाइल्स' ने उन ज़ख्मों की वापिस याद दिला दी है।कश्मीरी पंडित इस बात से जहां एक ओर खुश हैं कि देर से ही सही कम से कम बॉलिबुड को कश्मीरी विस्थापितों के उस दर्द की याद तो आई, तो वहीं दूसरी ओर जम्मू और कश्मीर के सियासी दल नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस ने इस फिल्म की आलोचना की है,जिसके बाद सियासी गर्मा-गर्मी बढ़ गई है।
