For the first time in the 16th Assembly of Punjab, 13 women have come as MLAs. This number is double as compared to the last assembly elections. There were 6 women in the last house. In the Punjab assembly elections 2022, 10 women have come for the first time while three are reaching the assembly for the second time.

पंजाब की 16वीं विधानसभा में पहली बार 13 महिलाएं विधायक चुनकर आई हैं. पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव के मुकाबले यह संख्या दोगुनी है. पिछले सदन में 6 महिलाएं थीं. पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव 2022 में 10 महिलाएं पहली बार चुनकर आई हैं जबकि तीन दूसरी बार विधानसभा पहुंच रही हैं.
