'TMZ' reports that a spokesperson for Instagram parent company Meta stated that West's recent posts violate the platform's policies, .
specifically regarding harassment, bullying and hate speech.
West recently posted what 'TMZ' refers
to as a "racist attack" on Trevor Noah.
According to the Meta spokesperson, West will not be able to engage with the platform through posts, DMs or comments.
If after the suspension West
continues to violate the platform's policies, .
'TMZ' reports that the spokesperson said the company will take further action.
The posts that contained the racial slurs against Trevor Noah have been removed from the platform.
West has recently come under fire for social media posts, which have sparked drama with a number of celebrities.
including ex-wife Kim Kardashian
and 'SNL' star Pete Davidson.
