Ukraine's President Zelenskyy's Address To The US Congress

On March 16, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, issued an emotive appeal to US lawmakers. Zelenskyy urged for greater Western intervention against Russia. Zelenskyy demanded the US and its NATO allies impose a no-fly zone over Ukraine. Zelenskyy’s speech received standing ovations from the members of Congress. NATO will hold an emergency summit next week in Brussels with Joe Biden in attendance, reported AFP. On March 16, US President Joe Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin a war criminal. Biden referred to reports that Russian troops took hostage doctors & patients in a Mariupol hospital. The US President tweeted, “These are atrocities.
