Japan: 7.3 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Fukushima Prefecture, Tsunami Warning Issued

On March 16 night, a powerful overnight earthquake hit large parts of east Japan. Two people were killed and several were left injured, reported AFP. Tsunami warning was issued as well. Many smaller jolts were experienced throughout the night and morning on Thursday. Japan's nuclear authority said no abnormalities were detected at the Fukushima plant, reported AFP. Around two million houses lost power in Tokyo and elsewhere in the immediate aftermath of the quake. Watch the video to know more.
