US President Joe Biden announced an additional US$800 million in security assistance to Ukraine on March 16, 2022. Biden said the military aid, which includes hundreds of Stinger anti-aircraft weapons, machine guns and Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank weapons, will help Ukrainians fight and defend themselves. Washington’s latest package follows a spending bill that includes US$13.6 in humanitarian relief as well as support for Ukraine's economy and military.  Video source: Reuters
