In an incident of a mid-air emergency, a flight from Bengaluru to Kolkata was diverted to the Bhubaneswar airport when a patient's health deteriorated mid-air. The emergency landing of the AirAsia flight was made at Biju Patnaik International Airport to save the ill patient. Unfortunately, the patient died.
