Astronomical Scale (Lecture 1) ।। Apparent Magnitude & Brightness of Stars ।। Stellar Distance & Mass
This is the first lecture on Astronomy and Astrophysics. In this lecture we give some basic idea about Astronomical Scales. First we discuss about stellar distance and their unit parsec light year and astronomical unit. Then about Stellar mass and Chandrasekhar limit. At the end of this lecture we discuss about apparent magnitude and brightness of stars. We also find relation between brightness and apparent magnitude of a star using Pogson law and solve some numerical problems at the end of this video.
