Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has been rejected by the people of Punjab in the assembly elections (Assembly Election Results 2022). Contested from Bhadaur seats (Charanjit Singh Channi lost both his seats), but despite this he could not save his chair. Even the Congress has not been able to save its power in Punjab.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी को पंजाब की जनता ने विधानसभा चुनावों (Assembly Election Results 2022) में नकार दिया है.चन्‍नी ने दो सीटों पर किस्‍मत अजमाई थी, लेकिन वे दोनों ही सीटें हार गए हैं, चन्नी ने इन चुनावों में चमकौर साहिब और भदौर सीटों से चुनाव लड़ा (Charanjit Singh Channi lost both his seats) था, लेकिन इसके बावजूद वो अपनी कुर्सी नहीं बचा पाए. यहां तक कि कांग्रेस ही पंजाब में अपनी सत्ता नहीं बचा पाई है
