As crypto donations continue to pour into Ukraine, Bored Ape Yacht Club, the massive NFT project, has donated $1 million of Ethereum to the cause. The project’s Twitter handle announced the donations and added that it wanted to step up after wallets holding one of its NFTs had donated the same amount previously. The total donation was 389 Ethereum for a total of $1.07 million and comes on the heels of a report that Ukraine has received over $37 million in the first day after it started accepting them. Currently, Ukraine is accepting donations in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin among others. At press time, Ethereum was trading at just over $2750, up more than 8% in early trading.
