AT 71, and with 11 pole dancing world championship titles to her name, Greta is well and truly proving that age is just a number.
In her younger years, she was a keen gymnast - but it was not until she was 59 years old that she took up pole dancing in a bid to stave off osteoporosis. Though she admits her first class was tough, she persevered and was soon mastering gravity-defying tricks.
At the age of 62, Greta, who lives in California, entered her first contest, competing against dancers decades younger than her - some as young as 18. Since then, she has been travelling the world, perfecting new routines, and participating in competitions. To date, she has won a grand total of 11 world championships. Not even a double hip replacement, a few years ago, stopped Greta, and she hopes her story will inspire others that they needn't be held back by their age.
