Assam के 80 municipal bodies के 977 वार्ड में आज वोटिंग हो रही है, मतदान सुबह 8 बजे से जारी है,राज्य के निकाय चुनाव के इतिहास में पहली बार इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीन (EVM) का इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है. सुबह से ही मतदान केंद्रों के बाहर लंबी लाइनें दिखाई देने लगी. आयोग के अनुसार इस दौरान कोरोना नियमों का सख्ती से पालन किया जा रहा है. वोटर्स के बीच न सिर्फ सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग नियमों का पालन किया जा रहा है बल्कि मास्क भी अनिवार्य किया गया है
Voting is going on in 977 wards of 80 municipal bodies of Assam today, voting is going on from 8 am, for the first time in the history of state's civic elections, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are being used. Long lines were seen outside polling stations since morning. According to the commission, during this time the corona rules are being strictly followed.
