Following the capture of Kherson, a major city closer to Russian-controlled Crimea, and the pounding of the port city of Mariupol, the focus has shifted to areas around nuclear installations. Russian forces also advance on Kyiv from the east. In addition, there are reports of intense fighting in the area, which has Europe’s largest nuclear power plant located in South-eastern Ukraine near the city of Enerhodar.
