A top Met Police officer has denied there were vetting issues with Sarah Everard’s killer Wayne Couzens.
Senior cop Sir Stephen House has said it is “not clear” that there were problems with vetting in the case of rapist and murderer Couzens.
In March 2021, Couzens used his warrant card to trick Ms Everard, 33, into a false arrest - before kidnapping, raping and strangling her, and burning her body in Ashford, Kent.
