'It wasn't just Thibault Laly's mountain bike that went downhill on July 20, 2019.
This clip captures the frightening moment Thibault was sent flying off his bike during a downhill MTB competition.
The moment the subject enters the scene, he gets flipped over his ride and slammed hard on the dirt track. His bicycle can also be seen bouncing on the ground.
"This crash happened at the end of a qualification round of French Championships," Thibault said. "It was, by far, my biggest crash to date. I was very lucky to get through this without any serious injuries."
The abrupt yet impactful accident leaves the spectators in the front row completely stunned.
