Karnataka: Shivamogga Tense As Bajrang Dal Members Target Muslim Areas With Stone Pelting After Murder Of Party Worker

Situation in Shivamogga town in Karnataka has been tense. Several vehicles were set on fire. Stone-pelting cases were reported from many areas as tension spread over the murder of a member of Bajrang Dal, right-wing outfit. 26-year-old Harsha, a Bajrang Dal member, who reportedly worked as a tailor, was stabbed by unidentified persons. Three people have been arrested by the police. The administration has imposed curbs on public gatherings. Schools and colleges will remain shut. Basavaraj S Bommai, Karnataka Chief Minister, tweeted, “Investigation is on and those responsible for this will be arrested at the earliest.” Watch the video to know more.
