Hong Kong police mobilised in Covid-19 battle as new infections exceed 7,500

A new anti-epidemic police task force is being formed under the Hong Kong government’s Security Bureau as the city continues its fight against Covid-19. Officers serving on the task force are being mobilised in preparation for universal testing of all of the city's residents as Hong Kong confirmed a record 7,533 new Covid-19 infections on February 21, 2022.
