NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet spoke from Sydney Airport as Australia's international borders reopened on Monday, February 21, 2022.
The reopening of borders came as a breakdown in talks between the NSW Government and the Rail Tram and Bus Union (RTBU) resulted in all services on the Sydney Train lines and intercity RailLink line being cancelled.
A self-proclaimed "angry" Mr Perrottet said the train shutdown was a "coordinated attack by the Labor Party and union movement".
