Days after a court convicted 49 people in connection with the Ahmedabad serial blasts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that he had vowed to punish the perpetrators even if they sought refuge in "paatal," and accused the Samajwadi Party of sympathising with such terrorists.

Speaking at a BJP campaign rally in UP's Hardoi, PM Modi slammed the Samajwadi Party for being "sympathetic" to terrorists and said that the previous government sought to withdraw cases against several terror accused.
